Job Title: Director, Mid-Level Giving

Job Summary:

The Director, Mid-Level Giving will lead a team of fundraisers in managing relationships with donors who have a giving history at HIAS up to the $24,999 level. This role will focus on guiding mid-level donors through a donor journey, with the goal of inviting them to become major donors in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategy for engaging mid-level donors, including planning and executing donor-related domestic travel.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Vice President, Mass Market Fundraising & Digital Strategy to add more mid-level donors to the pipeline based on digital fundraising efforts and recurring donors.
  • Work with the major gifts team to develop a solicitation strategy for a pool of Annual Giving prospects.
  • Build and advance productive professional relationships with cross-departmental colleagues to develop successful prospect engagement, cultivation, and solicitation strategies.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of HIAS' priorities and be well-versed in its programming worldwide.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lead small group presentations and/or lead 1:1 meetings.
  • Ability to operate effectively with flexibility, creativity, and discretion.
  • Committed to working in and fostering a diverse, inclusive, and positive environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Travel, to include travel to insecure operating environments, may be required.
