Job Summary

The University of Virginia seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Interventional Pulmonology team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians to manage lung nodules, lung masses, lymphadenopathy, complex airway disease, pleural effusions, and emphysema.

Responsibilities
  • See new and return lower risk lung nodule patients
  • Lead the Bronchoscopic Lung Valve Replacement (BLVR) program
  • Assist nursing staff with new patient referral triage
  • Respond to patient calls and messages
  • Participate in the UVA Multidisciplinary Thoracic Tumor Board
  • Ensure patient referrals for procedures and subspecialties are completed
  • Participate in Interventional Pulmonary research projects
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master's degree
  • License or license eligible as an Advance Practice Provider in the state of Virginia
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
