Enhance the Banking Experience at Fifth Third

OVERVIEW:

As a key advisor and team leader, you will simplify complexities for Private Bank clients by collaborating and challenging them to define and reach their financial aspirations. You will orchestrate a team of highly qualified specialists to deliver comprehensive wealth management, investment strategies, private banking solutions, risk mitigation, and trust services. Your role is crucial in ensuring the execution of exceptional Private Bank experiences and client service standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Development:

  • Identify and cultivate internal and external networks to generate new client opportunities.
  • Utilize the Life360 Discovery process to assess client needs and identify opportunities for Assets Under Management (AUM), Loans, Deposits, Estate Planning, and Wealth Management.
  • Act as a Core Team Member to uncover opportunities with both new and existing clients, continually assessing their needs to enhance relationships.
  • Exhibit expertise in consultative sales, ensuring adherence to client service standards to foster enduring client relationships.
  • Strategically implement a personal business plan to meet established revenue and business goals.

Client Engagement:

  • Establish practices that guarantee team coordination in delivering consistent Private Bank experience standards.
  • Employ the Life360 process to collaborate with team members in providing tailored advice-driven solutions.
  • Work alongside a specialized team to ensure high-quality client service delivery.
  • Meet service standards and metrics aligned with client needs, segmentation, asset allocation, and risk management.
  • Identify and refer opportunities for advanced planning solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients' external advisors (e.g., attorneys, accountants) to ensure cohesive recommendations aligned with client objectives.
  • Leverage internal and external service providers to maximize operational effectiveness.
  • Act as the primary contact for resolving client issues promptly and effectively.
  • Provide clients with insights on current market trends and maintain a comprehensive understanding of investment products and strategies.
  • Oversee the organization and execution of client reviews to ensure their needs are met, utilizing the Life360 process to continually engage with clients on their goals.
  • Manage the profitability of client relationships effectively.
  • Ensure timely documentation of process information in CRM systems regarding status and activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by exploring ways to deepen client relationships across all areas of Private Banking and relevant Bancorp channels.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for Centers of Influence within the Bank.
  • Ensure the implementation of recommendations provided to clients.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and share necessary information and resources to achieve common objectives.
  • Address developmental needs and knowledge gaps as identified by management.
  • Promote the Bancorp Vision and Core Values through personal actions and leadership influence to foster high-performing teams.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in an environment that emphasizes both individual accountability and team performance.
  • Demonstrated urgency and a consistent drive for results, with the ability to partner effectively with management at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and build relationships based on value addition rather than title or authority.
  • Proven track record of successfully collaborating with and influencing peers and management to support growth and financial performance.
  • Active participation in professional and community organizations.
  • Effective networking and relationship-building skills both internally and externally.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
  • CFP, CFA, or CPWA certification preferred, with a requirement to obtain within specified timeframes. Juris Doctorate (JD) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will also be accepted.
  • State life and health insurance licenses as per regulatory guidelines.
  • A minimum of eight years of successful sales/client service experience in the financial services sector.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes impacting clients and collaborate with specialists to remain updated on services and solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
  • Compliance with S.A.F.E. Act registration requirements upon employment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Standard office setting with minimal exposure to environmental factors.
  • Extended periods of viewing computer screens.
