POSITION SUMMARY:

Acting as a reliable advisor and team leader, you will simplify complexities for Private Bank clients by engaging and collaborating with them to define and realize their financial aspirations. You will assemble a team of highly qualified specialists to offer comprehensive wealth planning, investment strategies, private banking solutions, risk management, and trust services. Your role will ensure the delivery and execution of the Private Bank experience and uphold client service excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Initiatives:

  • Identify and cultivate internal and external networks to build a robust pipeline of new client opportunities.
  • Utilize the Life360 Discovery process to assess client profiles and identify needs that lead to asset management, loans, deposits, estate planning, and wealth management.
  • Serve as a Core Team Member for One Bank, recognizing opportunities with both new and existing clients. Continuously evaluate client needs to expand and deepen relationships.
  • Exhibit expertise in consultative and advice-driven sales; manage client service standards to foster and maintain enduring client relationships.
  • Formulate and strategically implement a personal business plan to meet defined revenue and business goals.

Client Engagement:

  • Establish practices that ensure team coordination in consistently delivering Private Bank experience standards.
  • Employ the Life360 process when collaborating with team members to provide tailored advice-based solutions.
  • Work alongside a specialized team to ensure high-quality client service delivery.
  • Guarantee that service standards and metrics are met according to client needs, segmentation, asset allocation, and risk management.
  • Identify and refer opportunities for advanced planning solutions.
  • Collaborate with client third-party advisors (e.g., attorneys, accountants) to ensure cohesive recommendations aligned with client objectives.
  • Leverage internal and external service providers to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary contact for resolving client issues promptly and effectively.
  • Provide clients with insights on current market trends and maintain comprehensive knowledge of investment products, trading strategies, and market dynamics.
  • Oversee the organization, development, and execution of client reviews to ensure their needs are met, utilizing the Life360 process to continually engage with clients.
  • Manage the overall profitability of client relationships.
  • Ensure timely recording of process information in CRM regarding status and activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by seeking ways to deepen client relationships across all areas of Private Bank and other relevant Bancorp channels.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Centers of Influence within the Bank.
  • Ensure the implementation of recommendations provided to clients.
  • Lead the client onboarding process effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and share necessary information and resources to achieve common objectives.
  • Address developmental needs and knowledge gaps as requested by management and the Private Bank.
  • Promote the Bancorp Vision and Core Values through personal actions and leadership influence to foster high-performing teams.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in an environment that emphasizes both individual accountability and team performance.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and a consistent drive for results while effectively partnering with management at all levels.
  • Exhibit the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and build relationships based on value rather than title or authority.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
  • CFP, CFA, or CPWA industry certification preferred, with a requirement to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • State life and health insurance licenses required as per licensing guidelines.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of successful sales/client service experience in the financial services sector.
  • Stay informed of regulatory and governmental changes affecting clients, collaborating with specialists to remain updated on services and solutions.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal negotiation, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Utilize effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
  • This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Standard office environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations.
  • Extended periods of viewing computer screens.
