PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Acts as a trusted consultant and team leader, simplifying complexities for Private Banking clients by engaging and collaborating with them to define and achieve their financial aspirations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales:

  • Cultivates and nurtures both internal and external networks to develop a robust pipeline of new client opportunities.
  • Effectively employs the Life360 Discovery process to assess client profiles and identify needs that lead to asset management, loans, deposits, estate planning, and wealth management.
  • Serves as a Core Team Member for One Bank, identifying opportunities with both new and existing clients. Continuously evaluates client needs to uncover opportunities for deepening relationships.
  • Demonstrates expertise in consultative and advice-driven sales, managing the execution of client service standards to foster lasting client relationships.
  • Develops and strategically implements a personal business plan to meet established revenue and business goals.

Client Experience:

  • Establishes practices that ensure team coordination in consistently delivering Private Banking experience standards.
  • Utilizes the Life360 process in collaboration with team members to provide advice-based solutions.
  • Partners with a tailored team of specialists to ensure high-quality client service delivery.
  • Ensures that service standards and metrics are met based on client needs, segmentation, asset allocation, and risk management.
  • Identifies and refers opportunities for advanced planning solutions.
  • Collaborates with third-party advisors (e.g., attorneys, accountants) to ensure cohesive recommendations aligned with client objectives.
  • Leverages internal and external service providers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Acts as the primary contact, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Provides clients with insights on current trends and maintains a comprehensive understanding of investment products, trading strategies, and market dynamics.
  • Responsible for organizing, developing, and executing client reviews to ensure client needs are met, utilizing the Life360 process to continually engage with clients about their goals.
  • Manages the overall profitability of client relationships.
  • Ensures timely recording of process information in CRM regarding status and activities.
  • Drives continuous improvement by seeking ways to enhance client relationships across all areas of Private Banking and other relevant Bancorp channels.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for Centers of Influence within the Bank.
  • Responsible for implementing recommendations provided to clients.
  • Leads the client onboarding process.
  • Collaborates with team members to ensure alignment and share necessary information and resources to achieve common objectives.
  • Addresses developmental needs and knowledge gaps as identified by management and the Private Bank.
  • Champions the Bancorp Vision and Core Values through personal actions and leadership influence to foster high-performing teams.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in an environment that emphasizes both individual accountability and team performance.
  • Demonstrates urgency and a continuous drive for results while effectively partnering with management at all levels.
  • Exhibits the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and build relationships based on value addition rather than title or authority.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; preferred fields include Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
  • CFP, CFA, or CPWA industry certification is preferred and must be obtained within 24 months (36 months for CFA) of starting to align with Private Bank practice management requirements. Juris Doctorate (JD) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations are also acceptable.
  • Required state life and health insurance licenses in accordance with licensing guidelines.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of successful sales/client service experience in the financial services sector.
  • Stays informed of regulatory and governmental changes affecting clients and collaborates with specialists to remain updated on services and solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal negotiation, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills are essential. Proven proficiency in delivering branded presentations and solutions.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary.
  • Technical proficiency in software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
  • This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Typical office environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations.
  • Extended periods of viewing CRT screens may be required.
