Job Description

Casuda Canyon Restaurant Corporation is seeking a skilled Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash, place, and maintain tableware in accordance with cleaning and sanitation standards.
  • Receive, replenish, and rotate stock according to established back-of-house standard operating manuals.
  • Perform all cleaning and sanitation of kitchen-related items and equipment, designated spaces, and waste materials.
  • Set up and close down the dish machine, reporting and troubleshooting any malfunctions.
  • Perform other work activities as requested by management to support the safe and efficient operation of the restaurant.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required or 1 year of experience.
  • Exemplify the Company's values (PRIDE) and demonstrate a responsive, caring, and respectful approach in all personal interactions.
  • Wear approved manufacturer-certified slip-resistant shoes at all times while working.
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation, code of conduct, work rules, and management instructions.
  • Comply with all hygiene and personal grooming requirements.
  • Arrive to work on time in designated restaurant uniform.
  • Foster a workplace culture of hospitality, respect, safety, and sanitation.
  • Participate in all required trainings and complete all required examinations.
  • Be a team player with a can-do mindset and support all business operational needs.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent lifting, moving, and carrying of plate ware, cleaning equipment, and garbage weighing up to 70 pounds in the back-of-house.
  • Regular and prolonged standing and walking to wash dishes, move garbage, etc.
  • Occasional ascending/descending stairs across the restaurant to deliver food, pick up dirty dishware, etc.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Frequent use of hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms.
  • Constant bending, stooping, and turning to place dishes in the machine, etc.
  • Constant exposure to hot and damp temperature fluctuations.
