Position Summary

The Catering Service Associate is responsible for the preparation, execution, and clean-up of catering events in alignment with Parkhurst's catering guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Engage with guests in a warm and professional manner.
  2. Adhere to all service protocols as outlined in Parkhurst's catering manual.
  3. Utilize event documentation, including diagrams and timelines, to ensure successful event execution.
  4. Timely collection of equipment, supplies, and food post-event.
  5. Organize rented items for vendor retrieval.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering supplies and equipment, including the stockroom.
  7. Follow the cleaning schedule provided by management, employing 'clean as you go' practices.
  8. Communicate effectively with management regarding inventory needs.
  9. Comply with the uniform dress code and uphold high standards of personal hygiene.
  10. Embrace Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards and the Smile Plus hospitality principles.
  11. Support fellow team members whenever possible.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

  • Standing and/or walking for the entirety of the shift.
