Key Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

The Housekeeper will deliver a comprehensive range of cleaning services to uphold the cleanliness and safety of the facility, including its grounds, furnishings, and equipment.

Essential Duties:

  • Adhere to established cleaning protocols and quality assurance measures.
  • Maintain cleaning schedules for designated areas.
  • Coordinate with Nursing Services for routine and terminal isolation cleaning procedures.
  • Stay informed about safety regulations and follow all established safety protocols.
  • Report any unsafe or hazardous conditions, as well as defective equipment, to the supervisor without delay.
  • Respect the personal and property rights of residents.
  • Address any complaints or grievances with the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

  • A solid understanding of safe and effective housekeeping practices is essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
