Project Management (Non-Technical) II

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management (Non-Technical) II to join our Research & Development team in Lexington, MA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the investment project manager with a range of responsibilities, including project execution, project governance materials preparation, invoicing follow-up, reporting in Power BI, communication, problem-solving, and project planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project director with project execution, including monitoring the project plan, workstream progress, dependencies, and milestones, and modifying the project plan as necessary in line with project governance.
  • Prepare materials for Steering Committee meetings and project gate passages.
  • Collaborate with cost controller and procurement team to verify that invoices align with purchase orders, contract deliverables, and the project plan.
  • Develop and maintain standardized project management reports in Microsoft Power BI, Teams, or Excel.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely across diverse technical and non-technical backgrounds and various levels of seniority.
  • Problem-solve and facilitate input, taking decisive action, overcoming obstacles, and fostering progress and transparency within the project.
  • Develop a high-level project plan detailing the project scope, work packages, timeline, milestones, governance, roles and responsibilities, risks, and resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Project management planning, and tracking and follow-up skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Self-starter; experienced setting direction and organization in ambiguous environments.
