Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Facilitate centralized talent acquisition, recruiting full-time personnel across the organization.
- Design, execute, and manage all stages of the recruitment process.
- Partner with department leaders to craft precise and comprehensive job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identify and apply effective recruiting techniques and strategies tailored to the specific role, industry benchmarks, and organizational needs.
- Manage all job posting and advertising initiatives.
- Evaluate applications and shortlist qualified candidates.
- Coordinate interviews; oversee the preparation of interview questions and related hiring materials.
- Assist in the interview process, participating in and conducting interviews alongside managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and/or HR personnel during the offer phase, advising on salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other relevant details.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
- Participate in college job fairs and recruitment events.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a recruitment role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and independent, demonstrating initiative.
- Bilingual capabilities are advantageous.
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with effective negotiation techniques.
- Capacity to develop and implement sourcing strategies for diverse recruitment needs.
- Knowledge of applicable hiring laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in or able to quickly learn applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software; experience in facilities management is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- At least five years of comprehensive experience in the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
- SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential is a plus.
