Position Overview:
As a Pediatric Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care to our cardiac surgery patient population. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting thorough physical assessments and developing individualized care plans.
  • Implementing and evaluating treatment strategies in collaboration with the Cardiac Intensivist teams.
  • Providing acute resuscitation and ongoing multidisciplinary medical management.
  • Facilitating transitional care to sub-acute settings and performing critical care consultations.
  • Offering psychosocial support and health education to patients and their families.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in Pediatric Critical Care settings (PICU, NICU, CTICU).
  • Certification as a Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor (AHA).

Work Schedule:
This position offers a variety of shifts with a minimum commitment of 12 shifts every four weeks. We provide competitive compensation along with housing, travel, rental/mileage reimbursement, and malpractice coverage.
