Job Title: Radiation Therapist Float

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in a float position, working across multiple locations in the area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will administer radiation therapy treatments to patients, ensuring accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation and delivering the prescribed dose. This role requires a strong understanding of radiation oncology principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
  • Accurately enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into electronic medical records.
  • Participate in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
  • Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedules and submitting correct billing information.
  • Cut blocks and make custom molds as required.
  • Interpret computerized treatment plans and perform simple mu calculations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • ARRT certification and valid state license for radiation therapy.
  • 0-3 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT for Radiation Therapist I, 3-5 years for Radiation Therapist II, and 5+ years for Senior Radiation Therapist.
Working Environment:

The work environment is an office setting with significant interaction with management, staff, and external auditors and clients. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
