Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at City of Hope. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing radiation therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
  • Accurately enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into electronic medical records.
  • Participate in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
  • Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedules and submitting correct billing information.
  • Cut blocks and make custom molds as needed.
  • Interpret computerized treatment plans and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • ARRT certification required, with a valid state license for radiation therapy.
  • 0-3 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT for the Radiation Therapist I role.
  • 3-5 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT for the Radiation Therapist II role.
  • 5+ years of experience actively practicing as an RTT for the Senior Radiation Therapist role.
Work Environment
