Gulfstream GIV Captain Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Gulfstream GIV Captain to join our team at Silver Air Private Jets. As a key member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for the safe operation of our aircraft and ensuring all flights are conducted in a safe and prudent manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft.
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Complete checks of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airports to be used.
  • Ensure flights are conducted in accordance with Silver Air's policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
  • Accurately complete all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
Requirements:
  • Total time in all aircraft: 3500 hours/3000 hours as PIC.
  • Multi-engine time: 3000 hours/2000 hours as PIC.
  • Total Turbine time: 1750 hours preferred.
  • Total time in airplane type: 200 hours/100 hours as PIC.
  • Type rated on G-IV or comparable aircraft.
  • Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Previous Part 135 experience preferred.
  • Compliant with ICAO Annex I.
  • CANPASS authorization.
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent communication skills.
  • High level of detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong people skills and ability to work as a team player.
