Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Manager to join our team at IMA Financial Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our Certificate Compliance team and ensuring that our clients' insurance certificates are accurate and compliant with their contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and review insurance certificates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with client contract requirements
  • Provide detailed and accurate reviews and respond to client inquiries about compliance matters
  • Collaborate with insurance agents to verify policy coverage and cancellations
  • Conduct client account reviews and interact professionally and timely with clients
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Lead and manage the service associates within the Certificate Compliance team
  • Direct the work assignments and manage the work of the unit team and assigned associates
  • Facilitate team meetings and communicate division information
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to account executives as needed
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in commercial insurance and a strong understanding of General Liability, Umbrella, Worker's Compensation, and other business policies
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products required (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong level of comfort with learning and utilizing computer software programs (i.e. MYCOI and TrustLayer)
  • Moderate travel required
