About the Role
As a seasoned Auto Consumer Underwriter, you will play a critical role in evaluating and decisioning consumer offerings within Ally's underwriting policies. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and maintaining a high level of customer service for your assigned territory, while managing a portfolio of dealers and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximize portfolio revenue by applying sound underwriting judgment and risk management principles
- Ensure compliance with underwriting policies, elevate risk issues, and stay up-to-date with policy and procedure changes
- Limited travel will be required for this role
- Requires flexibility in work schedule, including evening hours and weekends
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Auto Consumer Underwriting or B2B Sales
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
