Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to investigate and resolve incidents related to liability claims that may impact the organization.
  1. Conduct thorough investigations of incidents that may expose the company to liability.
  2. Oversee, document, analyze, negotiate, and settle claims to achieve resolution.
  3. Manage and maintain claim-related documentation, ensuring compliance with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
  4. Assess and resolve liability claims within the adjuster's designated settlement authority.
  5. Handle litigation processes to secure favorable outcomes and resolutions.
  6. Address customer claims effectively while minimizing potential conflicts.
  7. Emphasize loss prevention and hazard mitigation during claims processing, proposing initiatives to proactively reduce risks.
  8. Process subrogation claims related to property damage when the company acts as a collateral source.
  9. Provide reserve recommendations for internal claims management and budgeting purposes.
  10. Collaborate with senior or more experienced adjusters to resolve conflicts related to claims.
  11. Exemplify behaviors that align with the company's core mission, ensuring the highest level of support for guests and team members.
  12. Ensure all activities comply with relevant rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a related role is preferred.
