Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff at a single site. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our clients and residents.
Responsibilities- Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff to ensure excellent service delivery and quality standards.
- Lead staff training, quality control, and in-servicing to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
- Act as liaison between building occupants or administrators and HCSG staff, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and resident experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in environmental services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision desired.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
- Must live in the service area.
