Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Fire Protection Design Engineer to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fire protection systems for industrial facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform fire protection duties associated with planning, analysis, design, and construction of fire protection sprinkler systems for new construction and facility renovation projects.
  • Generate fire protection life safety code analyses.
  • Perform sprinkler system shop drawing plan reviews.
  • Perform hydraulic and seismic bracing calculation reviews.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with fire protection engineering concentration preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in industrial facility design, construction, commissioning, and/or operations.
  • 5+ years of experience working as a fire protection engineer and familiar with nuclear, radiological, and/or other higher-hazard industrial facilities.
  • Possess a Professional Fire Protection Engineer License is preferred but not required.
