Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at General Atomics and Affiliated Companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance programs and systems on small projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with experience in interpreting and adapting quality standards and government regulations. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs and systems on small projects
  • Interpret and adapt quality standards and government regulations
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure quality standards are in place
  • Conduct physical inventories and investigate inventory shortages or discrepancies
  • Manage and maintain inventory from the stock room

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related discipline
  • Two or more years of related experience
  • Experience in production/material control is highly desired
  • Ability to apply a basic understanding of inspection methods and have a basic knowledge of computer operations and applications

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. They will also be expected to observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
