POSITION TITLE: Ticket Specialist

OVERVIEW:
Support patrons with ticket transactions both via telephone and in-person interactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide accurate information regarding pricing, seating arrangements, and event details with professionalism and efficiency.
2. Process payments as per established protocols and ensure proper distribution of tickets.
3. Maintain a precise daily ledger reflecting cash transactions and ticket sales.
4. Manage ticket requests at the will-call area in accordance with company guidelines.
5. Open and close the ticketing window as necessary.
6. Consistent attendance is a critical component of this role.
7. Must successfully complete a background and credit evaluation.
8. This position may require work across various ASM Global venues.
9. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- A positive demeanor and professional appearance are essential.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills are a must.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in Box Office or Guest Services (18 months preferred).

SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:
- Ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately process transactions.
- Follow instructions and effectively complete assigned tasks.
- Proficient in basic computer operations, particularly with ticketing software.
- Capable of organizing and accurately entering customer information.
- Employ appropriate phone etiquette when interacting with guests.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Flexibility to work varied hours, primarily during events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- To succeed in this role, an individual must fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This role necessitates walking, navigating stairs, standing, bending, and prolonged sitting, with the potential to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs. Regular use of hands for handling and counting cash is required. The individual must be able to ascend stairs and traverse distances to access all seating areas. Clear communication via a two-way radio is essential. Specific vision requirements include close vision capabilities. Interaction with large groups of people may occur in a fast-paced environment.
