**Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the RF Transmission, Transport Distribution, and Engineering Services Manager with technical operations and administrative duties.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and associated equipment under supervision.
  • Install, modify, and re-route electronic equipment wiring infrastructure under supervision.
  • Execute routine preventative maintenance and software updates for electronic and associated equipment.
  • Perform manual labor and field support as required.
  • Serve as a backup for positions within the Engineering Services Division.
  • Perform viewer technical correspondence and customer support communications.
  • Manage Daystar Engineering assets and readiness duties.
  • Support Daystar Engineering shipment and logistical operations.
  • Provide clerical support tasks for the Engineering Services Division.
  • Support Special Project Units, such as Daystar's Called to Care Prison Ministry.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics preferred; Associate degree in electronics required.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic equipment, electronic test equipment, instruments, and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent phone skills and professional manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, and other computer office-related programs.
  • Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain required State and Federal level security clearance.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to sit and walk at workstation for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must pass a medical physical exam.
  • Must be willing to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and 24/7 emergency call-outs.
