About the Role

SiriusXM is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Audio Engineer to join our NFL Radio team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality audio for our live shows, working closely with producers, engineers, and on-air talent to deliver exceptional broadcasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run the audio board for live NFL Radio shows, ensuring seamless transitions and high-quality audio
  • Collaborate with producers and managers to develop and implement audio strategies for programs, promos, and specials
  • Source and obtain audio materials, including music, sound effects, and interviews, to enhance the broadcast experience
  • Design and create engaging social media content, pairing show audio with eye-catching graphics
  • Verify that on-air product meets broadcast standards, including audio quality and commercial accuracy
  • Ensure sound equipment is functioning properly during shows and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Work closely with talent and producers to maintain programming clocks and ensure all content and advertisements are featured as planned
  • Post-show, upload each show to the SXM App for archived and on-demand content
  • May be required to fill in for producers on occasion and assist with special projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least two years of experience in radio broadcasting or audio production
  • Excellent creative writing and communication skills for radio
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong interest in the NFL and sports broadcasting
  • Comfortable working with talent, artists, and high-profile individuals
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have the legal right to work in the U.S.
