Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the radio frequency engineering team
  • Design and implement radio frequency systems, including base, mobile, and portable radios, as well as public address systems
  • Manage the installation and maintenance of radio frequency systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of radio frequency systems with other communication systems
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve communication systems and reduce costs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in radio frequency engineering and communication systems
  • Strong knowledge of radio frequency theory and principles
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional certifications in radio frequency engineering or communication systems
  • Experience with Metro-North Railroad's communication systems and infrastructure
