You play a crucial role in our success. Every position impacts our patients' lives, and you have the chance to make a significant difference. We are seeking a committed Nuclear Technologist PRN to join our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing and administering radioactive chemical compounds, known as radiopharmaceuticals. You will conduct patient imaging procedures utilizing advanced radiation-detecting equipment.
Your role will involve providing images, data analysis, and patient information to physicians for diagnostic interpretation. The patient demographic may range from newborns to seniors.

Your Responsibilities:


- Deliver care tailored to the patient's condition and age.
- Prepare stock solutions of radiopharmaceuticals and related materials.
- Adhere to aseptic/sterile techniques for all procedures.
- Operate within the Nuclear Medicine Technologist scope of practice in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Follow all general infection control protocols and those specific to the department.
- Accurately complete required documentation immediately after each case.

Qualifications Required:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification.
- Associate Degree.
