We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Sebring Wauchula Lake Placid. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging both neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following the age-specific guidelines of the facility's parameters
- Transmitting images for diagnostic interpretation and keeping the hospital computer system up to date with the progress of these exams
- Actively participating in outstanding customer service and utilizing Service Recovery techniques for patients and families as needed
- Maintaining radiation protection standards according to (ALARA) principles
- Assisting physicians in cases of adverse reaction, performance of interventional/biopsy procedures using sterile technique, and in acute emergencies when necessary
- Performing other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department
- Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration
- General radiographer state license as required by state if applicable
- A competitive hourly rate of $39.34
