Your role is crucial. Every position impacts our patients' experiences, and you have the chance to make a meaningful difference. We are seeking a committed Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist PRN to enhance our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications
Responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations as per the established protocols of the Cardiovascular Laboratory, including but not limited to Duplex imaging and echocardiography.
May receive cross-training in other departmental areas.
Assumes responsibility for patient care within the department, providing support through assessment, observation, and documentation.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. The role primarily involves independent work.
Qualifications Required:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Registered or registry-eligible as a cardiac sonographer.
- Work experience may substitute for formal education, or a High School Diploma/GED is acceptable.
- Preferred: One year or more of experience as an Echo Technologist.
A solid understanding of echo equipment is essential. Additional on-the-job training will be provided. Supervisory experience is preferred.
