Your Role:

As a Cardiac Catheterization Specialist, you will perform a variety of technical tasks during cardiac catheterization and invasive imaging procedures. You will focus on monitoring physiological data during cardiac and vascular interventions and will be responsible for scrub activities.

Your Contributions to the Team:

- Maintain approved aseptic techniques during invasive procedures.

- Administer fluids and contrast materials under the direct supervision of the attending physician.

- Prepare the catheterization laboratory and equipment for upcoming procedures.

- Open sterile packs and set up the instrument table for catheterization.

- Welcome patients and ensure their comfort within the department.

- Prepare patients for catheterization procedures, including sterile draping.

Qualifications:

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:

- Specialized training in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

- One of the following credentials: RCIS registry, Florida license as a Certified Radiologic Technologist, Florida license as a Certified Respiratory Therapist, or completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Tech (AS) program.

- ACLS Certification

- BLS Certification
