We are seeking a skilled and organized Part Time Office Assistant to join our team at Palmer Bus Financial Management, Inc.

About the Role

This part-time position involves providing exceptional customer service to parents, school districts, drivers, and external parties. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and two-way company radios in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide top-notch customer service to clients, including parents, school districts, drivers, and external parties.
  • Assist the Site Manager with daily operations, including transportation coordination and scheduling.
  • Communicate with parents regarding issues and concerns.
  • Ensure all driver files and necessary job-related training are documented and complete.
  • May cover school bus routes or assignments as needed.
Requirements
  • Schedule and set priorities for work to be accomplished.
  • Have a working knowledge of phones, two-way radios, computers, and electronic data processing (e.g., Google Drive and internet experience).
  • Be in possession of, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Minnesota Commercial Driver's License with passenger, school bus, and air brake endorsements.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as customer service skills.
  • Be able to deal with problems and find solutions.
  • Be proficient in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Interact and communicate successfully with personnel at all levels.
  • Work through demanding situations in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
