Power Platform Developer II

Key Responsibilities of the Power Platform Developer II

  • Design, develop, and implement business applications utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Exhibit strong UI design capabilities to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
  • Configure and tailor data models, forms, workflows, and reports to align with organizational requirements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, focusing on visual design, metrics, data visualization, and analytics to assess business performance and pinpoint improvement areas.
  • Manage SQL Server databases and craft T-SQL queries for effective data management.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges related to Power Platform applications and SQL Server.
  • Identify, develop, and deploy reports in Power BI, integrating them into PowerApps.
  • Collect and document user requirements, translating them into application designs with detailed documentation for team collaboration.
  • Act as a liaison with various departments and external stakeholders, fostering positive communication.
  • Engage in database design to support application development initiatives.
  • Analyze and optimize query performance, implementing solutions to resolve issues promptly.
  • Create, test, and debug intricate T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to facilitate application development.
  • Participate in code and technical design reviews.

Preferred Qualifications for the Power Platform Developer

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline.
  • Several years of experience in developing business applications with the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Transact-SQL, and database architecture.
  • Strong UI design skills with the ability to create intuitive and visually engaging interfaces.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and testing capabilities.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript or PowerShell.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps.
  • Certification in Microsoft Power Platform is advantageous.
