About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing a cloud-based platform that supports our national security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Cloud-Based Infrastructure: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop a cloud-based infrastructure that meets the needs of our national security programs.
  • Implement DevSecOps Practices: Implement DevSecOps practices to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud-based platform.
  • Provide Operational Support: Provide operational support for the platform, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with Agile Teams: Collaborate with agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Security Clearance: S. government TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud-Based Technologies: Experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)/ Commercial Cloud Services (C2S).
  • Programming Languages: Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).
  • Automation Frameworks: Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
