We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Generation Specialist to join our team at Wagner Equipment Co. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our power generation equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on power generation equipment, including generators, engines, and related systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and failures, and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure equipment is operating within specified parameters.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced technicians and trainees.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in power generation technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- 3-4 years of experience in power generation equipment maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of power generation systems, including generators, engines, and related components.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and tools, as well as work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
