Position Overview
Job Title: Electrical Assembly Specialist
Location: Brookfield, OH
Compensation: $19-$24/hour
Shift: Day shift from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM with opportunities for overtime.
This role is a direct hire opportunity with the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install raceways, conduits, and cable management systems, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and relevant electrical codes.
  • Accurately install electrical equipment, including switchgear, variable frequency drives, automatic transfer switches, and control systems, following detailed engineering schematics.
  • Fabricate conduit and work with both electrical metallic tubing and rigid metal conduit.
  • Execute electrical wiring tasks, including anchoring, tie-wrapping, routing, flagging, tagging, crimping, and stripping of wires and cables.
  • Assemble and install electrical components such as sub-panels in accordance with engineering designs.
  • Connect electrical wiring between various components based on wiring diagrams and schematics using standard electrician's tools.
  • Measure and cut wires to precise lengths, accounting for future connections.
  • Ensure proper alignment and leveling of components and conduits using measuring tools.
  • Utilize drill presses and portable drills to create bolt holes in parts as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in wiring electrical panels is essential.
  • At least 2 years of experience with hydraulic conduit knockouts, conduit threading, and the use of manual and power tools is required.
  • Experience with applicable Quality Assurance Procedures (QAPs) for at least 2 years is necessary.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and wiring schedules is required.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment assessments.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, and pull weights of 50 lbs or more is required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and electrical point-to-point diagrams is essential.
  • Excellent manual dexterity is a must.
  • Strong color vision and eyesight are required.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
