About the Role:

As a Sales Manager at Total Quality Logistics, you will embark on a comprehensive learning journey, working closely with our sales and leadership teams for the first six months. Upon completion of your training, you will be entrusted with leading a team of sales employees, responsible for driving revenue and delivering exceptional customer experiences through our LTL services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute strategies to drive LTL revenue growth through coaching and developing new and existing team members
* Interview, hire, onboard, and train entry-level LTL account representatives
* Collaborate with account reps to develop effective LTL strategies, ensuring production targets are met
* Foster strong relationships across the full-truckload sales organization
* Ensure employees maintain the highest level of integrity and adhere to company values
* Occasionally travel to meet with LTL account reps, prospects, and customers
* Monitor sales reports, identify trends, and communicate market conditions to senior leadership
* Assist in resolving escalated issues and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably leading a team of 10+
* 3+ years of experience succeeding in LTL Sales
* Strong negotiation and presentation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proven ability to coach, lead, and motivate others
* Ability to be on call to support the team and customers 24/7/365
* Capability to provide strong professional references
