Job Description

Woven Accents is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to oversee the daily functions of the HR Department. This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days in our Los Angeles office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with experience in benefits administration, performance management systems, and safety programs. They will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work with management to identify staff vacancies and support local management with people relations.

The HR Manager will be responsible for administering benefits, performance management systems, and safety programs, as well as serving as a liaison for current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion, and employee benefits.

They will also maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning people-related data, conduct exit interviews to identify the reasons for employee termination, and oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

The HR Manager will maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommend best practices, and review policies and practices to maintain compliance.

They will also maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Required skills and abilities include Workers' Comp and Leave of Absence filing and processing experience, HRIS proficiency, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, and organized problem-solving skills.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, strong knowledge of Employment & Labor Law, FMLA, and Human Resources Management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, experience in conflict management and talent acquisition, and proficiency in HRIS systems and data collection.
