Software Systems Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining and improving the quality, performance, scalability and availability of our 24X7 production Platform for Science and SampleManager environments in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS.
  • Develop and maintain effective quality processes and procedures.
  • Proactively monitor services and respond to and troubleshoot issues.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT systems engineering or related field is required. Strong knowledge of GxP regulations, Quality Management Systems (QMS), computerized systems validation processes and requirements, AWS cloudwatch/cloudtrail, Kubernetes, Linux, Terraform, Helm, containers, cloud-providers AWS, Jenkins and Rancher is also essential.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
