**Salary Range:** $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

**Job Description:**

As a Pharmaceutical Business Systems Architect, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our systems align with business strategies, objectives, and processes. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with IT professionals and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, from initial concept to delivery and post-implementation support.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Facilitate communication between stakeholders and IT professionals to ensure that solutions address business problems and add value.
* Gather and analyze requirements for IT projects, designing and documenting supporting business processes and translating them into functional and non-functional requirements or user stories.
* Work with the Enterprise Architect and IT development team to design and/or specify technology solutions that meet business needs, ensuring compliance with GxP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in the Computer Systems Validation (CSV) process, creating and executing test plans to ensure the compliance and efficacy of the system.
* Assist the project manager or PMO in planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
* Act as a liaison between IT and business functions, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements, timelines, and project statuses.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

* Advanced degree in computer science, technology, engineering, or related disciplines.
* 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry or consulting, with a strong background in clinical development and operations processes.
* Strong understanding of agile concepts and certification in agile methodology.
* Experience working in regulated systems in a GxP environment, including Computer Software Validation (CSV) and IT SDLC processes.
* Familiarity with data platforms, data warehouses, data lakes, data ingestion, distribution pipelines, and data analytics/visualization tools.
* Proficiency in using analytical tools and software for data analysis, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective resolutions.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and plan multiple projects.
