Position Overview:

We are seeking a Tax Manager to lead our Energy division within the Complex Property Tax department. This role offers remote work flexibility within the U.S. and involves collaboration with leadership across various locations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects with a strong emphasis on client satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee the execution of project scopes by consultants.
  • Conduct complex analyses to support client needs.
  • Engage in account settlements under the guidance of leadership.
  • Expand and maintain a robust client portfolio, ensuring high service standards.
  • Respond promptly to all client inquiries.
  • Communicate project updates and information requests to clients, instilling confidence in our services.
  • Report analysis results to supervisors and clients effectively.
  • Keep all systems updated with revenue forecasts, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Leverage advanced functions, automation, and technology to enhance project execution.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of valuation principles to advocate effectively to assessors.
  • Review the work of others to ensure compliance with Altus standards and project requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proven ability to supervise and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in complex property taxation, particularly in the energy or renewable sectors, is advantageous.
  • Expertise in valuation for specialized industrial properties, encompassing all valuation methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
