Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at a boutique CPA firm in Seattle. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax audits, providing innovative tax planning strategies, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Coordinate Tax Audits: Oversee the tax audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audits.
  • Provide Tax Planning Strategies: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings for clients.
  • Prepare and Review Complex Tax Returns: Prepare and review complex income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Identify and Mitigate Tax Risks: Identify potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Coordinate Accounting Staff: Manage and coordinate accounting staff to ensure efficient and effective tax provision and compliance process.
  • Improve Processes: Develop and implement best practices to improve tax reporting, tax compliance, and planning processes.
  • Manage Tax Reporting: Oversee all aspects of tax reporting, tax compliance, and planning for clients.
  • Review Tax Returns: Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections to ensure accuracy and compliance.
