Job Description

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fusion Financials Functional Consultant to join our Public Sector team. As a senior-level consultant, you will provide expert guidance and support to our clients in implementing and optimizing Oracle Cloud Financials solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality solution leadership to project teams, ensuring successful implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials solutions.
  • Design and implement integrated software solutions, considering time to delivery and budget constraints.
  • Lead business needs analysis to ensure Oracle solutions meet customer objectives, combining industry-standard processes, product knowledge, and business sense.
  • Exercise judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions.
  • Provide direction and mentoring to project teams, influencing customer leadership on key decisions.
  • Support business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions.
  • Collaborate with consulting sales teams, providing domain expertise.
  • Resolve complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions.
  • Experience with the Oracle product set is essential.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience relevant to this position, including 5 years of consulting experience.
  • Prior team leadership or management experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud/e-Business Suite (EBS) experience, with 5-10 years of solid experience in General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Assets, and Cash Management.
  • Ability to lead enterprise structure and chart of accounts design workshops.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA is a plus.
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% when required.
