Key Responsibilities- Provide basic observation and monitoring of consumers in the group home, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Conduct daily assessments of consumer behavior and develop training plans to promote basic living skills.
- Transport consumers to appointments and outings, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
- Administer medication and assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and other hygiene needs.
- Prepare consumer meals according to individualized dietary orders and maintain a clean and organized living environment.
- Recognize and respond to crisis situations, de-escalating or resolving conflicts in a proactive and compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
- Document consumer services and progress in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to AltaPointe Health policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 23 years of age or older.
- Maintain a valid Alabama driver's license.
This is a self-scheduling position, allowing employees to choose their preferred shifts 6 weeks in advance. Full-time employees work 3, 12-hour shifts per week, including rotating weekends, while part-time employees work 1-2 shifts per week. PRN employees work as needed, with occasional overtime required.
