Job Title: Commercial HVAC Installation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Installation Technician to join our team at CCI Mechanical. As a key member of our service installation team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine configuration of system components.
  • Install products and equipment, perform equipment start-ups, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work within a composite team of Service Technicians, Plumbers, and Sheetmetal Workers to complete all tasks associated with equipment replacements and retrofits.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, and gathering materials.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, team members, account managers, and customers to ensure projects are meeting schedule requirements.
  • Complete pre-task safety plans and perform all work with a safety-first mindset.
Qualifications:
  • Preferably a graduate of a certified technical school and 5-years or more experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers.
Benefits:
  • Sign-on bonuses available based on experience (from $1,000 - $4,000).
  • Journeyman level position starting at $42.33/hr. with the possibility of a higher wage depending on experience.

  • Vacation up to 3 weeks.
