Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled technician to become a vital part of our installation team. This role involves working on various HVAC projects, ensuring that installations are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine the configuration of system components, including compressors, motors, pumps, and ducts.
- Install HVAC products and equipment such as boilers, chillers, and split systems, ensuring proper start-up and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of technicians, plumbers, and sheet metal workers to complete equipment replacements and retrofits.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems and products at client locations, providing effective solutions to technical issues.
- Prepare for installations by reviewing building layouts, anticipating challenges, and gathering necessary materials.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to safety protocols by completing pre-task safety plans and maintaining a safety-first approach in all work activities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a certified technical program and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Possession of necessary certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license in good standing.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; effective communication skills with customers.
