Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute projects from hypothesis through experimental work to result interpretation, write recommendations, and disseminate reports.
- Develop and execute projects with the support and guidance of a manager, effectively communicating project statuses and highlighting risks and issues.
- Plan and lead bench-top experimental work plans and trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice.
- Conduct research activities, including literature reviews, analytical work, and project-related activities.
- Maintain experimental workspaces and equipment to ensure compliance with food safety and quality policies and maintain quality standards systems, safety, and standard operating procedures in accordance with good manufacturing process and HACCP.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a relevant field.
- 2 years of analytical analysis experience preferred.
- Bigger picture experience/knowledge is a huge plus - understanding why certain processes are being followed and how they fit into the overall picture rather than just following orders.
- General CPG/food industry experience outside of rote ingredient development.
