The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a talented physician scientist to join the Department of Psychiatry and the Bowles Center for Alcohol Studies. As a clinical researcher in addiction medicine, you will develop and maintain an independent clinical research program related to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an independent clinical research program related to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence.
- Foster bridges between the basic science and the clinical addiction medicine program.
- Conduct research and publish findings in reputable scientific journals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance addiction research and treatment.
Requirements
- PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree.
- Postdoctoral training preferred.
- Research experience relevant to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence disorders.
- Strong clinical skills and experience working with an inter-disciplinary team.
