Job Summary:

Sovah Health - Martinsville is seeking a PRN Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for planning and delivering radiation therapy treatments to patients. This is a PRN position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and treatment parameters.
  • Verify patient identification and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Communicate with patients and their families to provide education and support throughout the treatment process.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment plans and progress.
Requirements:
  • Current certification by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • One year of experience in radiation oncology is preferred.
  • Membership and participation in local, state, and professional organizations is preferred.
