Job Title: Technology Portfolio Manager

At MISO, we are seeking a highly skilled Technology Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our technology strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of our technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams to design solutions that achieve defined strategic objectives.
  • Technology Roadmap Development: Oversee the development of technology product roadmaps by collaborating with stakeholders to identify goals and objectives that deliver on strategy.
  • Portfolio Management: Facilitate, synthesize, and sequence strategic inputs that contribute to strategic goals and objectives into long-range roadmaps.
  • Team Collaboration: Work across the portfolio teams to identify dependencies and risk mitigations that optimize the planning and delivery of technology solutions.
  • Communication: Ensure delivery teams understand vision, key objectives, and scope for solutions in the roadmap.
  • Performance Management: Evaluate and manage the performance of direct reports, including creating development plans that align with individual professional goals and the organization's ongoing needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 8+ years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing teams, employee performance, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Skills: Proven experience defining and evaluating technologies, documenting, and managing implementation of multi-year roadmaps that meet organizational strategies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred but not required.
  • Software Experience: Aha roadmap software experience is a plus.
