Role Summary:
The Surgical Technician will provide quality patient care according to Cambridge Health Alliance, the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses, and the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates standards of nursing practice and the Surgical Technologist role expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgical provider and circulating nurse through preparation and assistance with surgical procedures.
- Prepare surgical equipment, provide equipment to surgeons during surgery, maintaining the integrity of the sterile environment within the operating room.
- Complete other tasks as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program required.
- On call responsibilities required for nights, weekends, and holidays.
