About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as grooming, bathing, and dressing.

  • Develop and implement personalized plans to promote independence and self-advocacy.

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, promoting positive relationships and a sense of belonging.

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Requirements:

A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid New York State Driver's License and 2 years of driving experience.

Experience working with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities is preferred but not necessary.

A passion for making a difference in the lives of others is essential.
