Job Title: Sales Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at Intellijoint Surgical. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in introducing our innovative technologies and driving national expansion.

Job Summary:

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing prospects, and converting opportunities into substantial above-market growth. You will work independently and at the direction of a Regional Sales Manager to expand business within your defined multi-state territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead New Business Generation: Growth is the goal, and you will be at the forefront, leading complex sales activities with multiple decision-makers.
  • Launch New Accounts: You'll need to become an expert and provide surgical case coverage to ensure our products are used safely and effectively when new customers join.
  • Manage Accounts: Guide customers on the transition to full independent product use.
  • Distribution Partners Support: Build strong relationships with our distribution partners.
  • Shape Business Strategy: Develop and propose a business justification for hiring additional employees and creating new core territories.
  • Stay Accountable: Keep the lines of communication open and report back to the Regional Sales Manager and your peers on new business pipeline projections and utilization.
  • Drive Product Improvements: Collaborate with our Product Specialist team to bring back customer feedback and spot new opportunities for growth.
  • Handle Inventory & Logistics: Ensure equipment and assets are where they need to be.
Requirements:
  • 3 - 5+ years of documented sales success in the medical device, medical technology, or orthopedics.
  • Or 8+ years of sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding targets within a technical field.
  • A solid understanding of anatomy is a big plus.
